Quote of the Day

"Kids. They're not easy. But there has to be some penalty for sex."

Said by Bill Maher, atheist and winner of the 2009 Atheist Alliance International Richard Dawkins Award.

Practicing what he preaches, Mr Maher has never married or fathered a child nor does he intend to.

If atheists succeed in converting all of humanity to their beliefs, how long will humanity survive? At best a couple of centuries?

If every human being decided to have more than two children, humanity would not survive either, as the planet would quickly become overpopulated.

I am Jewish, not Orthodox though not an atheist either, and I am not at all promiscuous. I decided at 18 that I didn't want to have kids, and 28 years later, I am happily single and have no regrets over my decision.

Sure we would. We would just build taller houses. Or, seriously, worst case above a certain limit people would starve and the population would stabilize

Another example of your overgeneralizing. I could say the same thing about Heredim. If everbody lived like them the whole country would be poor, uneducated and overcrowded.

The tendency people have to kill off jews seems to control our population.

Is that what you want to count on, as a matter of policy?

I am trying to calm any fears you may be having of out of control numbers of Jews. It's never been a problem really.

And neither have atheists bred us out of existence. Not really a problem.

The indigenous population of Europe, cradle of atheism, is dying out and being replaced by Muslims.
